Forgive, Don't Forget
Share
You might have wounds from some past incidents in your life. Your teacher or your boss have insulted you, your loved ones have cheated on you, your best friend have betrayed you or someone have taken advantage of you.
We feel hurt and jaded and carry around those feelings. We've been all there.
And if we keep caring those feelings, we'll keep getting hurt. We'll never see the world again the same way we used to look before. We'll damage others and will add negativity in the world. If we don't heal those wounds, they will keep getting intense.
You cannot heal those wounds until and unless you forgive those whoever made you hurt. So forgive them for your own benefit. Not forgiving them don't make them lose anything, but forgiving them will help you heal, move on and grow. By healing, you'll gain an ability to love again. You won't damage anyone and won't add negativity to this world anymore. Those wounds won't hurt you anymore and you can focus on your goals and dreams, so eventually it will help you grow.
But don't forget what they did-so that you don't make the same mistake again and don't get hurt again. So Forgive but don't Forget. Keep that in your brain, not in your heart.
